Project Management KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa Collaborative Project

OVERVIEW

To coincide with the KOGEI Art Fair Kanazawa 2023 and 2024, new events were launched to provide a more immersive experience of kogei crafts. Programs such as tea ceremonies and studio tours were developed in collaboration with the National Crafts Museum. In the 2023 Tourism Revitalization Project, a premium tea ceremony titled “Re-exploration of the Tea Ceremony” was held at three venues: Hyatt Centric Kanazawa, the Ishikawa NISHIDA KITARO Museum of Philosophy, and the Kanazawa Nakamura Memorial Museum. It blended contemporary crafts and traditional culture by using tea utensils from the collection of the National Crafts Museum. The 2024 Unique Experience Project featured various special events held at the National Crafts Museum, antique shops, and craft artists’ studios. It invited visitors to explore throughout Kanazawa City, beginning at the art fair venue at the Hyatt hotel, and to discover a wealth of traditional crafts in Kanazawa. Noetica served as the administrative office for the Certified NPO Syuto Kanazawa, and comprehensively worked on event planning, coordination, operation, and public relations.
