OVERVIEW

Asia NOW, held during Paris Art Week, is an art fair founded in 2015 as a platform to showcase the increasingly diverse contemporary art from Asia. Featuring special exhibitions curated by guest curators and organizations that lead the Asian art scene, the fair has thrived in recent years. Participating in this fair in 2024, which celebrated its 10th anniversary, was Go for Kogei’s first overseas project. Collective Action, an artist collective formed by artist Shinichiro Yoshida and curator Yuji Akimoto, exhibited The Mingei Spirit: Minimalist by Nature, showcasing minimalist aesthetics through plant-fiber textiles worn by workers. Noetica was responsible for planning, communication with the organizer, coordination, production, and transportation supervision.
