OVERVIEW

Kutani ware is a traditional pottery from Ishikawa Prefecture. The KUTANism project was jointly launched by its production region (Komatsu and Nomi Cities) with the aim of gaining international publicity and establishing a local brand in anticipation of the Shinkansen extension in 2023. Its second edition in 2020 was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The KUTANism Online Museum communicated the profound appeal of Kutani ware through a webzine featuring the producers, and a short film on Kutani ware by the director Yoshitaka Mori. Noetica comprehensively worked on the project from planning and coordination to production and public relations.
