OVERVIEW

Noetica worked on the art curation for the renovated hotel in Kyoto Sanjo. The hotel’s concept, “evoking one into local travels,” was inspired by its location at the starting point and ending point of the journey through the 53 stations of the Tokaido Road, once the center of traffic for people and goods. Drawing from the concept, Noetica delivered Daisuke Yamashiro’s video sculpture, which projects scenic landscapes that can be viewed from any angle. We also directed an exhibition of works by Keigo Kamide and Hajime Kimura at the pop-up shop in the hotel.
